Traffic and service disruptions around Easter
In Weiterstadt, there will be restrictions on road traffic and on the opening hours of the city library in the coming days.
Haydnstrasse completely closed
On March 24, 2026, Haydnstraße will be completely closed in the area of the "Im Wingertsberg" intersection. This is due to crane operations. Motorists are asked to avoid the area.
City library closed on Maundy Thursday
The city library in the media ship will remain closed on Maundy Thursday, April 2 , 2026.
Loan periods for borrowed items have been adjusted accordingly, so no returns are necessary during the closure. The return slot at the media ship remains available for returns.
