Guided city tour on two wheels – exchange, information and good atmosphere
On Sunday, June 29, 2025 , the city of Weiterstadt held its annual (new) citizens' bike tour . Over 70 participants took the opportunity to explore the city's districts by bike and learn about current local projects and developments.
Guided city tour by bicycle with special service
The tour led through all parts of the town and was accompanied by the city police , ensuring a safe and incident-free event. A particular highlight was the participation of four local residents who rode along in specially provided rickshaws , allowing them to experience the tour from a unique perspective.
DLRG Gräfenhausen provided a relaxing break with food and drinks. This offered an opportunity for conversation, networking, and getting to know one another – especially for new residents.
Dialogue with Mayor Ralf Möller
Mayor Ralf Möller accompanied the bicycle tour and provided information at various stops about current municipal projects and redevelopment initiatives . He answered numerous questions and emphasized the importance of direct communication with the public.
"The high number of participants shows how well this format is received by our citizens. The direct exchange in the fresh air connects people and builds trust – we will definitely repeat this," Möller concluded.
