Facilities affected from March 16th to 18th
Local elections will be held in Hesse on March 15, 2026. Voters in Weiterstadt also have the option to cumulate and panachage their votes. In addition to marking a party, they can also cast specific votes for individual candidates.
The counting of these individual votes does not take place completely on election night, but in the following days by special counting election committees.
For this reason, the town hall, the cultural affairs office, and the library will remain closed from March 16th to 18th, 2026, inclusive. The closure is necessary to ensure the proper and thorough counting of the votes.
