Starting today (August 29, 2025), the science city of Darmstadt will regularly provide information on current topics from culture, leisure, transport and more WhatsApp channel
The new channel is operated by the city administration and delivers concise information directly to smartphones every Friday. "We want to provide information where people already communicate – simply, directly, and reliably," explains Mayor Hanno Benz .
The service is free for anyone interested to subscribe to. The channel is solely for informational purposes – advertising and chat functions are not included.
