Three estate wines from the region are now available in the zoo shop – two euros per bottle go towards species conservation projects
Darmstadt is now special edition wine under the motto "Biodiversity" available. In collaboration with the award-winning Edling winery from Roßdorf, three estate wines with exclusively designed labels have been relaunched.
The special edition includes:
- The white hawk moth (Pinot Blanc) – symbolically represents the native diversity of endangered butterfly species.
- Salamandra (red wine cuvée) – refers to the conservation breeding of endangered amphibians and fish species
- Takuya (non-alcoholic sparkling grape wine) – supports, among other things, the protection of crested macaques in their natural habitat
from every bottle sold go Two euros, which the Vivarium Zoo is particularly committed to supporting. Prices range from €8.90 to €12.50,.
The zoo shop is operated in cooperation with the volunteer association for Darmstadt e. V. and is daily from 11 am to 6 pm during the summer months up to and including September .
