Branch libraries and the bookmobile will be closed over the holidays
The Darmstadt City Library is closing for its winter break. From Wednesday, December 24, 2025, through Saturday, January 3, 2026 , the main branch in the Justus Liebig House and the branch libraries in Eberstadt and Kranichstein All libraries will reopen on Tuesday, January 6, 2026
bookmobile also be taking a break over the New Year period. It will remain in the garage Tuesday, December 23, 2025, until Friday, January 9, 2026. The bus will resume its usual routes Tuesday, January 13, 2026
No return appointments will be scheduled for the library's closure days . digital services will remain fully available throughout the winter break.
