Participation for children up to 10 years old – wish lists must be submitted by November 14th
The town of Groß-Gerau has announced the start of its 2025 Wishing Tree campaign : A Christmas tree decorated with children's wish lists will once again stand in the foyer of the town hall. Wish lists are available now from the Social and Integration Office.
Who can participate?
- Children: 0 to 10 years
- Place of residence: Groß-Gerau including Dornheim, Berkach, Wallerstädten, North
- Proof: Families receiving social benefits (e.g., citizen's allowance, social assistance/basic income support, unemployment benefit, housing benefit, child supplement, Asylum Seekers' Benefits Act) with corresponding proof
Registration process
- Those interested and eligible to participate should register by sending their contact details via email to wunschbaum@gross-gerau.de
- After verifying the requirements, the data is registered and a wish list is issued.
- The wish list must completed and submitted to the information desk of the town hall no later than November 14, 2025 .
- The wish list should include the contact details of the parents/guardians (phone number, email).
- Instructions for collection can be found on the right-hand side of the wish list.
What can be requested?
Only requests that meet the following criteria will be considered:
- Value: maximum €25.00 per child (including shipping costs)
- age-appropriate gifts
- For clothing/shoes : specify size.
- Not possible: Gift cards, vouchers or similar
- No war toys , no toy weapons (including Nerf guns)
- Preferably in regional stores or e.g. at Amazon (note delivery times)
- Not possible: Wishes that exclusively available through platforms such as Shein, Wish, Aliexpress, Temu
