Schorsch-Town and Büchner Findet Statt are organizing a social weekend in Riedstadt-Goddelau
From May 30th to June 1st, 2025, the initiatives Schorsch-Town Goddelau and Büchner Findet Statt to the "Woi-Eck" – a cozy café, wine and beer garden in the historic garden of the Büchner House (Weidstraße 9). Visitors can expect a relaxed weekend with regional wines, freshly tapped beer, specialty coffees and small snacks – no reservation required.
The "Woi-Eck" is open on Friday, May 30th , from 4 pm to 10 pm , on Saturday, May 31st , from 11 am to 10:30 pm , and on Sunday, June 1st , from 10 am to 6 pm . If the weather is bad, the barn at the Büchnerhaus is available as a covered alternative.
Meeting place with historical charm
With the "Woi-Eck" project, the organizers are creating a new meeting place. The garden of the Büchner House provides the perfect setting – a place steeped in history and atmosphere, embodying the spirit of Georg Büchner and representing exchange, humanity, and the simple life.
The weekend focuses on conviviality, enjoyment, and spontaneous encounters – all without any pressure to consume. Those who wish can treat themselves to drinks and snacks or bring their own picnic.
The offer includes:

- Coffee specialties from the portafilter machine using beans from the brand Röststücke by Schorsch-Town
A meeting place for everyone
The organizers emphasize that the "Woi-Eck" is not intended to compete with the well-known market breakfast in Goddelau, but rather to complement it Individuals, families, and groups are all welcome – no registration or entrance fee required.
