Around 25 participants discuss self-determination and mutual support
Around 25 women of different ages and nationalities celebrated International Women's Day together in Weiterstadt on March 9th. The network of women had invited them to an evening of exchange and fellowship.
Conversations about everyday topics of women
During a small champagne reception with finger food, the participants had the opportunity to talk to each other. The focus was on topics that affect women in their everyday lives – including mutual support, self-determination, respectful interaction, and setting personal boundaries.
Two participants made a special impression with their poetic contributions. In their texts, they addressed themes such as empowerment, solidarity, and respect.
Impulses for self-assertion
Another item on the program was presented by Doris Aubele. The WenDo trainer gave an insight into the concept of self-assertion for women.
The discussion focused on how women can deal with insecure or threatening situations in everyday life and what strategies have developed from personal experiences.
Interest in networking remains high
The evening clearly demonstrated the strong desire for exchange and networking. The participants took the opportunity to share experiences, make new contacts, and engage in conversation with one another.
