"The Art of Nature – The Nature of Art" at Kultur einer Digitalstadt eV.
Where does art begin – and where does biology end? This question will be explored in a philosophical-natural history workshop Saturday, September 27, 2025 Kultur einer Digitalstadt eV, entitled "The Art of Nature – The Nature of Art." The event will be led by Dr. Roland Lentz , biologist, photographer, and sustainability expert.
A walk through parklands, fields, forests, meadows, and along waterways explores the creative power of nature: from spiral patterns to the fractal structure of a tree. The excursion combines biological principles with aesthetic perception and invites reflection on the relationship between nature and art.
“Art is not a human invention – it springs from the principles of life itself,” says Lentz. His experience in science, photography, and environmental education informs a vibrant workshop aimed at both nature enthusiasts and art lovers.
Participation is free of charge. Donations are welcome. Space is limited; registration is required .
