Common care of the bee sculptures and honey tasting on May 20th
On the occasion of the World Bee Day on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, the country women's association Nauheim, the children's and youth parliament (Kijupa) and committed adults invite you to a joint campaign around the Nauheim beekeeper. It starts at 4:30 p.m. at the roundabout on Rüsselsheimer Straße/Berzallee.
The focus of the campaign is the maintenance of the well-known wooden bee sculptures: members of the Kijupa and the country women first clean the figures before they are impregnated for protection after drying.
In addition, visitors can expect a small honey bread tasting and information material on the important role of bees in the ecosystem. Drinks are also taken care of.
With this campaign, the initiators want to raise awareness of the protection of bees. "Bees are indispensable for the pollination of numerous plants and thus for biodiversity and our diet," emphasize the organizers.
The event takes place in cooperation with the municipality of Nauheim and the Bauhof team. All interested parties are cordially invited to jointly set an example for the protection of bees.
