Solo trumpeter Astrid Brachtendorf is a frequent guest performer not only in Germany but also internationally. Baroque music is a focus of her repertoire, alongside Romantic music. In this concert, she will bring Baroque sounds to life and accompany \"The Trumpet Shall Sound.\" She will perform the Sonata Seconda by Giovanni Buonaventura Viviani. Jorin Sandau, regional cantor at St. Ludwig Church in Darmstadt, will play the organ. He will accompany the soloists on the restored Bosch organ and complement the program with organ works.
