New Apprenticeship in Bus and Tram Operations: With the new apprenticeship program for bus and tram operators, the transport company is responding to future staffing needs. By 2030, approximately one in five HEAG mobilo employees will retire, including many drivers. The new apprenticeship program aims to develop young professionals who can operate buses and trams while also gaining insights into operational processes. This will enable them to later support organizational tasks within the company. Insights into various apprenticeships: In addition to the new apprenticeship program, HEAG mobilo offers other apprenticeships, including industrial clerk, industrial mechanic, mechatronics technician, electronics technician for industrial systems, automotive mechatronics technician, and IT specialist for system integration. At the Night of Apprenticeships, interested individuals will gain insights into the daily work routines of the various departments. At several stations, they can try out practical tasks and learn about activities in the different departments. A special feature is a ride in a mobile elevating work platform, like those used for overhead line maintenance. From there, visitors can enjoy a view over the city. Exchange with apprentices and the HR department: Trainers and current apprentices will be available throughout the event to answer questions about apprenticeships, applications, and starting a career. At the so-called \"apprentice speed dating\" event, visitors can talk directly with apprentices. The Night of Apprenticeships, themed \"Discover Your Future,\" is supported by a total of 16 companies in Darmstadt. A free shuttle service connects the various participating locations.
