With a \"New Orangerie\" evening, artstore Darmstadt will accompany the current exhibition \"All in the Green Zone\" on Monday, September 21, 2026, at 7 p.m. The focus will be on the new greenhouse on the Orangerie grounds and its design connection to Joseph Maria Olbrich. Admission is free. Sculptor Susanne Auslender, architect Ramona Buxbaum, and photographer Ren\u00e9 Antonoff will participate in the evening. Buxbaum and Antonoff will discuss the facade design of the new greenhouse and the municipal nursery's service yard. Olbrich's Color Gardens as a Point of Reference: The listed Orangerie is one of Darmstadt's historic parks. Joseph Maria Olbrich has a special connection to the design of the new building. The architect and artist, important to Darmstadt's Art Nouveau movement, presented color gardens in red, blue, and yellow during the 1905 garden exhibition in the Orangerie. The facade of the new greenhouse and depot echoes this color scheme. According to the organizers, further improvements to the park are planned in addition to the new building project. The event will take place during the exhibition \"All in the Green Zone\" at the artstore Darmstadt. Date: Monday, September 21, 2026, 7 p.m. Admission: free.
