At these events, participants receive concise information and can then ask the experts questions and join the discussion. The district is planning a total of six events for spring 2025. The program is funded by the state of Hesse. Cooperation partners include the energy consultants from Effizienz:Klasse GmbH in Darmstadt and the municipalities. \"Last year, more than 100 people in the district participated in the renovation roundtables. Working through specific topics in a small group setting provided participants with a good opportunity to ask the experts their questions,\" says Adil Oyan, First County Councilor and Head of Environmental Affairs. The first roundtable in 2025 will focus on the topic of \"Building Envelope \u2013 Roof and Facade.\" It will take place on February 26 at 6 p.m. in the Nauheim Town Hall. A well-insulated facade and a sound roof reduce heat loss in winter and prevent overheating in summer. This saves on heating costs and protects the environment. Participants will learn the best ways to achieve this at this meeting. Subsequent meetings will also be held every Wednesday at 6 p.m. On March 5th, the topic will be heating; on March 12th, the focus will be on the \"Energy Consultation Process\"; and on March 19th, the topic of \"Building Envelope\" will be addressed again. Heating will be discussed again on March 26th, and the discussion on the \"Energy Consultation Process\" will be offered once more on April 2nd.
