The mayoral candidates then addressed the assembled women briefly, expressing their appreciation for their dedication and wishing them a healthy new year. The hour-and-a-half hike led from the Old Town Hall through the historic town center, along the Waldwiesengraben stream, and through fields, woods, and meadows. A highlight was the sight of the flooded meadows, where storks, ducks, and Egyptian geese were frolicking. The hike's destination was Hochwimmer's St\u00fcbchen, where the participants received a warm welcome and looked forward to coffee, delicious cake, and pleasant conversation. During the convivial gathering, the rural women were delighted to receive a donation and words of appreciation from innkeeper Hochwimmer, who emphasized the importance and social commitment of the association. It was agreed that an event like the hike is not only a wonderful start to the new year but also strengthens the community and the members' dedication. The kickoff to the association's 2025 activities was a resounding success, and everyone is already looking forward to the next planned activity: a day trip on January 22nd. Only a few places remain.
