Suitable individuals (according to Section 3 of the Hessian Mediation Act) from Goddelau and Crumstadt can apply for this volunteer position at the Internal Administration Department of the Riedstadt City Administration (Rathausplatz 1, 64560 Riedstadt). The selection will be made by the City Council and the Municipal Assembly. The mediator will be officially appointed by the Gro\u00df-Gerau District Court. The duties of the mediation office include conducting mediation proceedings in civil disputes and criminal cases. Mediation aims to reach an amicable agreement between the disputing parties, thereby avoiding court proceedings. The voluntary position, for which an expense allowance is granted, is governed by the regulations of the Arbitration Act.
