It is being led by Jana Freund and Peter Gr\u00fcnig, staff members of the Eberstadt community work department, part of the Caritas Center Eberstadt South. The organizing team also includes Susanne Flath (Mobile Practice), Ludwig Achenbach (Eberstadt District Administration), and volunteers Hannes Marb, Andreas May, and Nicole Holzapfel. The neighborhood meeting serves as a central, neighborhood-based planning and coordination body in and for southern Eberstadt and sees itself as a mediator and representative of the neighborhood's interests to third parties. A key focus of this meeting is the exchange of information about what matters to people. Staff members from the German Red Cross (DRK) and BAFF will present the DRK day center in Eberstadt and the DA-BAI mother-daughter project. Participants will receive information through reports from the Eberstadt Children and Youth Working Group, the Eberstadt Senior Citizens' Network, the Eberstadt Neighborhood Forum, the Day of Tolerance, and the Family Center. The Christmas tree gathering will also be discussed. Upcoming events will round out this section. Furthermore, there will be a review of the last neighborhood meeting, which took the form of a neighborhood walk. This will address both opportunities for improvement and existing problem areas. The organizers are pleased to have secured the participation of the Eberstadt Volunteer Fire Department, which will present its work during the meeting. This vital work for the community deserves greater recognition, as Jana Freund and Peter Gr\u00fcnig from the SVR management team emphasize. For residents, the neighborhood meeting offers a valuable opportunity to voice their concerns and gather and discuss suggestions for the further development of their neighborhood. All interested parties are warmly invited to participate in the neighborhood meeting.
