Literary afternoon with readings, discussions and book signings on September 25th
The Weiterstadt City Library invites you to a special literary afternoon on Thursday, September 25, 2025, from 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The event will feature six young authors from the region who will present their works and give short readings.
The program includes contributions from Stefanie Bender , Isabel Ludschoweit & Johanna Finkernagel , Martin Haak , Mia Nestmann , and Christopher Marx . Whether fantasy or crime fiction – the audience can look forward to a variety of genres and exciting stories.
These up-and-coming talents have self-published their novels, independent of a publisher. Their creativity, courage, and passion have resulted in books that are already on display at the city library. The works will be available for loan starting September 26th .
In addition to the readings, the authors will share how their passion for writing led to their own books. They will be available to answer questions, offer insights into their experiences, and, upon request, sign copies of their books, which will be available for purchase on site.
The event is free of charge and can be attended flexibly during the entire period from 3 pm to 6:30 pm.
