Young people bring their own ideas - Mayor Feick praises constructive dialogue
Reinheim - An intensive and committed exchange took place last week between the youth forum Reinheim and representatives of the city council assembly and the magistrate . The aim of the meeting was to further strengthen the direct dialogue between young people and local politics.
Young people bring projects and wishes
At the beginning, the youth forum presented its previous activities: in addition to the participation in urban events and festivals, this also included joint bike tours with the mayor, the installation of a lying island in the Georgenhausen leisure center and the idea for a youth shelter as a meeting point in Reinheim.
Afterwards, an open and intensive conversation with the political representatives developed. The young people were pleased with the sincere interest and the constructive attitude of urban politics towards their concerns.
Feick: "Not over, but talk to young people"
Mayor Manuel Feick emphasized the importance of the dialogue:
"It is important to me that we talk to the young people in our common city and not about them. Since the foundation of the youth forum, it has developed a great cooperation in which a lot could be brought."
The youth forum Reinheim and the municipal child and youth promotion thank everyone involved for their support and invite interested young people to get involved. "The young people are always happy about new members," said Feick.
