Cabaret, competition and exhibition – Reinheim celebrates satire
The 32nd Reinheim Satire Week will once again bring a diverse program in 2025, featuring well-known artists, exciting newcomers and the traditional competition for the Reinheim Satire Lion .
Opening with Andreas Langsch
The festival kicks off on October 17th and 18th with a performance by last year's winner, Andreas Langsch , who won both the jury and audience prizes in 2024. The multi-award-winning cabaret artist captivates audiences with his program "The Love Algorithm," bridging the generation gap – subtle, musical, and always with a critical eye on current social issues.
Exhibition “Satire Week 2025”
"The Exhibition – Satire Week 2025" opens on Sunday, October 19th at 11:00 AM, featuring cartoons by Martina Hillemann, Claas Janssen, Tommy Mayer, Nicola Koch, and Sonja Schmitt . It will be open every Sunday from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM until November 2nd. Admission is free.
Competition for the Satire Lion
The following weekend is dedicated to the competition:
- Friday, October 24: Performances by Korff-Ludewig , Pe Krieger, Sven Garrecht and Tanja Silcher
- Saturday, October 25: Bermuda Triangle , Markus Kapp, Verena Richter and Daniel Helfrich
Each artist presents 30 minutes from their current program. The audience votes for their favorites.
Gala evening with awards ceremony
awards ceremony will take place on Sunday, October 26th . The winners will make another appearance, and the winning film of the Rüsselsheim Satirical Short Film Festival will also be screened.
