Work on new bridge structures – diversion via Darmstadt Interchange established
The West Branch of Autobahn GmbH has completed the replacement construction of the old bridges on the A672 over the A67 in the Griesheim Triangle (6) . The new structures were built parallel to the existing bridges.
The next step will be to connect the A672 carriageways to the new bridges. This will require the closure of the A672 access ramp from Darmstadt to the A67 towards the Viernheimer Dreieck .
The closure will begin on Monday, October 6, at approximately 5 a.m. and is expected to last until mid-January 2026 .
As a diversion, traffic will be directed via the Darmstädter Kreuz (26) via the A5 towards Basel to the A67.
Autobahn GmbH asks road users for their understanding regarding the necessary work and the associated restrictions.
