Exploratory drilling will cause restrictions on the A672 during the night of July 7th
Motorists should expect traffic disruptions in the area of the Darmstadt North interchange on the night of Monday, July 6th, to Tuesday, July 7th. The Federal Autobahn GmbH is conducting exploratory drilling there.
The work will take place between 8 pm and about 5 am and will require the closure of a connecting ramp at the Darmstadt motorway junction (exit 26).
Connecting ramp to the B26 closed
During the construction work, the connecting ramp from the A672 towards Darmstadt to the B26 towards Griesheim closed.
The signposted diversion U40 leads via the A672 towards Darmstadt city centre, then via Eifelring, Maria-Goeppert-Straße and Rheinstraße back to the B26 towards Griesheim.
Working at night
According to Autobahn GmbH, the exploratory drilling is deliberately carried out during the low-traffic night hours in order to minimize the impact on traffic.
The date is subject to suitable weather conditions. Autobahn GmbH asks all road users for their understanding regarding the unavoidable restrictions during the works.
