Raising awareness about the issue of homelessness on November 7th
Darmstadt. On Friday, November 7, 2025 the "Homeless" will take place at Friedensplatz . Between 2 pm and 5 pm , the event will focus on an often overlooked issue: homelessness in Darmstadt .
The day of action aims to highlight the many faces of homelessness – from people who live permanently without a fixed address to those who find themselves in precarious housing situations through no fault of their own. Visitors can about support services, prevention strategies, and other assistance options information booths and interactive stations .
In addition to information, there are also insights into life on the street , personal accounts, and opportunities for conversation and exchange .
The organizers of the day of action are the Regional Diakonie Darmstadt-Dieburg , the Evangelical Deanery of Darmstadt , FEST im Leben and Kirche & Co. – they jointly invite you to an event for encounters, information and awareness-raising .
The day of action takes place as part of local initiatives to combat poverty and aims to raise awareness of the living situation of homeless people in the region.
