“ADRA direkt – Help that arrives” will air every Thursday starting October 1st – 13 episodes are planned for 2026
The aid organizations ADRA Germany, ADRA Austria and ADRA Switzerland are launching a new television program together. “ADRA direkt – Hilfe, die ankommt” will be broadcast on Hope TV every Thursday at 9:30 pm, starting October 1, 2026.
The 25-minute programs focus on international emergency aid, development cooperation, and social engagement. The series is hosted by Gabi Pratz, who speaks with one or more guests about the organization's work.
The opening episode deals with emergency aid in the Middle East
A total of 13 episodes are planned for 2026. In the first episode on October 1st, Lukas Driedger, Head of International Cooperation at ADRA Germany, reports on experiences with emergency relief in the Middle East and the organization's work in the region.
Further episodes will focus on topics such as peacebuilding, poverty reduction, education and income-generating projects, climate adaptation, disaster relief, and acute emergency aid. The political framework for non-governmental organizations will also be addressed in the series.
The individual episodes combine discussions in the studio with image and video material from the respective project areas.
Joint project with Hope Media Europe
The series is produced by ADRA Germany, ADRA Austria, and ADRA Switzerland in cooperation with Hope Media Europe in Alsbach-Hähnlein. ADRA Germany is based in Weiterstadt, in southern Hesse.
After the initial broadcast, the individual episodes will be permanently available in the Hope TV media library.
