Summer program for 11- to 15-year-olds from Riedstadt and Gernsheim
The youth office of Riedstadt, the town of Büchner, is once again offering an adventure camp during the summer holidays of 2026. In cooperation with the Auszeit association and the Gernsheim youth services, the program is aimed at young people aged 11 to 15 from Riedstadt and Gernsheim. Registration is now open.
From July 26th to 31st, 2026, participants will travel to the Vosges Mountains. The trip will be based at the Oberlin group house in Lan Vancelle, Alsace. The cost is €210 per person. This fee includes five nights' accommodation, full board, transportation to and from the destination in minibuses, excursions in the surrounding area, and the provision of all necessary equipment.
The varied program includes excursions to Strasbourg and Colmar, a canoe trip, a visit to the adventure climbing park at Lac Blanc, and other group activities. The trip will be supervised by an experienced team of counselors led by youth workers Heiko Wambold and Mike Schumann. In addition to sports activities, there will also be plenty of time for swimming, relaxing, and shopping.
