Midfielder leaves Darmstadt after 46 appearances / Paul Fernie: "He has proven his qualities"
Midfielder Andreas Müller will no longer play for SV Darmstadt 98 next season. The 24-year-old is transferring to second-division side Karlsruher SC . Both clubs have agreed to keep the transfer fee confidential.
Müller joined Darmstadt from Erzgebirge Aue on a free transfer in the summer of 2023 and made a total of 46 competitive appearances for the Lilies, 35 of them in the past season. He scored two goals.
Paul Fernie, sporting director of SV 98, explains the transfer:
"Andi has demonstrated his qualities and value to a team over the past two years, and especially in the last season. He approached us with the desire to transfer to KSC. For us as a club to grow, it must also be our goal to strengthen our revenue stream. Since the financial parameters were met in this case, we agreed to the sale."
