Evangelical Church gives blessings at the Böllenfalltor and on the market square on 18 August
Darmstadt. To mark the start of the new school year, the Protestant Church invites you to a special event on Monday, August 18, 2025: Students, teachers, parents, and anyone interested can receive a blessing at two locations in Darmstadt on this day.
Pastors, community educators, preachers, and other volunteers will be present at the Böllenfalltor from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. At the same time, the team will be on hand at Darmstadt's market square from 12:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The blessing campaign at the start of the school year is organized by "FEST im Leben," the innovation and coordination office of the Protestant Deanery of Darmstadt, led by Pastor Astrid Maria Horn, and the Darmstadt City Youth Ministry, led by Pastor Dagmar Unkelbach. The goal is to mark the start of the school year with a personal blessing and thus provide a positive impetus for the upcoming school year.
