The focus in 2025 will be on the blues
The Bluespapas kick off the "Blues Year". Three experienced musicians have come together under the label Bluespapas.
Guitarist and singer Bernd Simon has been a successful figure in the German blues scene for around forty years, for example with the Matchbox Bluesband or the Down Home Percolators. Harpist Reiner Lenz and bassist Thomas Heldmann, as Papa Legba's Blues Lounge with the much too early deceased Jürgen Queissner, have performed well over five hundred gigs at festivals and street fairs, in clubs and pubs.
With this wealth of stage experience and great enthusiasm for playing, they bring the blues to the stage in all its diverse facets.
