Weiterstadt. On Tuesday, November 4, 2025 , the city library in the media ship to the next story time with the "Book Dwarfs" from 10 to 11 a.m. Children up to three years old are invited with a companion who would like to discover stories, sing, laugh and play together.
The "Bookworms" is aimed at parents with toddlers and takes monthly . Its goal is to playfully introduce even the youngest children to language and books. Short stories, sounds, and words foster language development, stimulate imagination, and create early access to the world of books.
"The Star Talers" as storytelling theatre
This time, the focus is on the fairy tale "The Star Talers ." In a child-friendly retelling, the children learn about the values of helpfulness and neighborly love . The story is told using seven Kamishibai picture cards – a method that facilitates understanding and playfully promotes the children's attention.
