Story time for children under three years old on the media ship
The Weiterstadt City Library invites you to the "Book Dwarfs" event series on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. The meeting point is the city library in the media ship.
Children under three years old are invited, accompanied by an adult. In a gentle atmosphere, short, child-friendly stories will be presented using a Kamishibai storytelling theater or sturdy board books. The aim is to spark the imagination of the youngest children, awaken their curiosity, and introduce them to the sounds of language at an early age. In addition to reading aloud, the focus will be on singing together, playing games, and getting to know one another.
"The Little Spider Disgusting" is the focus
In March, the picture book "The Little Spider Disgusting – With the Little Spider Through the Year" is the focus. The story, told in rhyme, takes the reader through the twelve months and shows typical impressions of the seasons – from the snowman in February to flowers in March and strawberries in June, to colorful leaves in October and candlelight in December.
