Science City Darmstadt invites you to the European Mobility Week
On Monday, September 22, 2025 , the Science City of Darmstadt this year's Children's Mobility Day from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Strahringer Platz in Kranichstein . The event is part of European Mobility Week , which raises awareness of environmentally friendly modes of transport and sustainable mobility across Europe from September 16 to 22.
Learn road safety in a playful way
The program teaches children and their parents how to behave safely in traffic in a playful way. A mobility quiz and a course for bicycles, pedal cars, and scooters allow young participants to get active. The benefits of wearing a helmet when cycling and riding a scooter are also clearly explained.
Creativity and practical tips
In addition to a free bicycle check , which shows how bikes are tested for road safety, there are craft stations , a book and painting table , and exciting stories about the topic of mobility.
