City festival and trade show present regional craft, services and cultural diversity
In bright sunshine, the city center of Groß-Gerau turned into a busy pedestrian zone full of attractions on April 26 and 27, 2025. The "Commercial Restry - City Festival and Trade Show" attracted thousands of visitors and impressively presented the diversity and performance of the local and regional trade.
Craftsmanships, mobility providers, photovoltaic experts and many other companies informed about their offers on two event days. Shops, culinary stands and an entertaining stage program created a lively cityscape and exuberant mood.
Mayor Jörg Rüddenklau emphasized: "The industrial shrine has impressively showed how attractive Groß-Gerau is a place of residence, place of residence.
The chairman of the trade association, Jörg Leinekugel, was also very satisfied: "The visitor response and the great interest confirm how strong the trade is in the region."
A varied supporting program with appearances on two stages, walking acts and children's karaoke rounded off the festival. The concert of the rock band "Mission Possible" on the market square counted around 1,500 guests. DJ Michel, Fusion 89, Kristian Straub and Michel Kornmann delighted the audience on the stage on the Burggraben.
Special thanks went to all the groups, clubs, artists, artists as well as the moderation team around Axel Schiel and the Büttelborn wind orchestra. Without the commitment of many involved and numerous partners, the event in this form would not have been possible. The sponsors included the Kreissparkasse Groß-Gerau, Volksbank Darmstadt Mainz eG, the GGV Stadtwerke, the Pfungstadt brewery and Fraport AG.
The 2025 commercial is once again underlining: Groß-Gerau is a place with a quality of life, encounter and economic diversity.
