The Riedstadt Cultural Office invites you to a literary and culinary vineyard tour on August 23rd
Riedstadt/Essenheim. Following the successful reading in the courtyard of the Leeheim Local History Museum, the cultural office of the Büchner city of Riedstadt invites you to a special excursion: On Saturday, August 23, 2025 , the crime writer and winemaker Andreas Wagner personally guide you through his family's vineyards in Essenheim – including a reading, wine tasting and a visit to a wine tavern.
Crime hike with views, wine and suspense
During the approximately two- to three-hour walk, Andreas Wagner offers fascinating insights into his work as an author and winemaker. At the original locations of his crime novels, he reads selected passages and connects them with explanations of the regional wine culture.
The tour includes a wine tasting with four wines , accompanied by water, non-alcoholic alternatives , and a pretzel for refreshment . To round off the day in a relaxed atmosphere, a visit to the Wagner winery's wine tavern planned, where participants can enjoy regional food and drinks.
Organizational details and registration
- 🕐 Departure: 1:00 PM, bus stop Kerweplatz Goddelau (corner of Starkenburger Straße/Pestalozzistraße)
- 🕖 Return journey from Essenheim: 7:00 PM
- 🕗 Arrival in Goddelau: approx. 8:00 pm
🎟️ Participation fee: 42 euros (incl. bus trip, guided tour, wine tasting)
