Authors from the Black Scene will read on 16 October 2025
On Thursday, October 16, 2025, the Darmstadt Künstlerkeller will be transformed into the "Bar Macabre." Under the title "Cocktail Macabre," five authors will present stories from the Black community.
The reading combines dark fantasy, gloomy inspirations, and mysterious encounters. Markus Heitz, Daeny Levi, Christel Scher, and the editors Lily Magdalen and Jessica Iser will be present. The evening will be complemented by musical accompaniment by Liska Mahnkovitch.
The focus is on texts from the anthology “Cocktail Macabre” , which open up a literary séparée in a mixture of fantasy, sensuality and dark secrets.
