After four home wins in a row, SV Darmstadt 98 had to accept a clear 0: 4 defeat against Hamburger SV.
The lilies started courageously and had good offensive campaigns in the early stages, but after the surprising 0: 1 by Reis (23rd) the game increasingly ran against the South Hesse. Despite a lot of commitment and further opportunities in the second half, the HSV consistently took advantage of the open rooms and expanded the lead to 4: 0 until the stoppage time.
