Workshops and environmental activities for fourth to sixth grade classes
The City of Darmstadt is informing students in grades 4, 5, and 6 about the Darmstadt Environmental Diploma program for 2026. The course offerings will also be published on the city's website: www.darmstadt.de/umweltdiplom . Online registration will be possible starting March 10, 2026.
“Our environmental diploma once again offers exciting insights into nature and the environment, as well as valuable impetus for sustainable coexistence. The environmental diploma is a great opportunity to make a difference together,” explains environmental officer Michael Kolmer.
Wide range of workshops with strong partners
Together with 28 companies, associations, clubs and initiatives, the city is once again offering a comprehensive workshop program on environmental and sustainability topics. Students of all school types can choose from nearly 70 different workshops.
The events take place between the end of March and the start of the summer holidays.
Award ceremony on Peace Square
Those who participate in at least four activities will be awarded the “Darmstadt Environmental Diploma” at a ceremony on September 5, 2026, during the GoBioFair sustainability fair on Friedensplatz.
