The team from southern Hesse now has seven points after this impressive result. The home side dominated the early stages and created some early chances. As the game progressed, Hertha improved but were denied by the crossbar and a superb save from Aleksandar Vukotic. The second half remained fast-paced, but neither team could find the net. In a tense stoppage time, both sides had opportunities to score the winning goal, but the match ended in a goalless draw.
