Wine festival from September 3rd to 6th with Sunday shopping and numerous activities in the city center
For four days, Darmstadt's city center will be dedicated to wine, culinary delights, and experiences. From Thursday, September 3rd, to Sunday, September 6th , the Darmstadt Wine Festival invites visitors to linger in Wilhelminenstraße with its numerous wine and food stalls. Simultaneously, a diverse program awaits visitors throughout the city. The highlight is Sunday shopping , when stores will be open from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Market of Beautiful Things Celebrates Premiere
For the first time, " Å Pävi's Market of Beautiful Things" will take place on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. in Friedensplatz (Peace Square) and in and around the Centralstation in the Carree shopping center. More than 80 exhibitors will present handcrafted products. The offerings will be complemented by food trucks, drinks, and a program of activities for the whole family.
Super Sale at Darmstadt's trendy shops
Also on Sunday, the popular Super Sale kicks off at the former McDonald's at Ernst-Ludwig-Straße 26. From 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., the Darmstadt fashion boutiques Agentur Derbe , MAMACITA , P2 , and RAILSLIDE will be offering heavily discounted fashion and accessories. The sale will then run daily from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. until September 12th
Bicycle Action Day with Children's Mobility Day
will take place on the market square this Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. for the 15th time . Visitors can expect a bicycle flea market, free bicycle registration, bicycle checks, and numerous information and interactive activities. For the first time, a Children's Mobility Day be held concurrently. Children can playfully practice safe road behavior with a mobility quiz and a course using bicycles, ride-on cars, or scooters. Fun and games for families
Families will also find plenty to enjoy: The KinderKiste (Children will be at the Carree shopping center on Saturday and at Ludwigsplatz on Sunday. From 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. , numerous games, large-scale games, and ride-on toys will be available. Face painting will also be offered on Sunday.
Shopping on Sundays when shops are open
On the occasion of the wine festival, the shops in Darmstadt city centre will open their doors on Sunday, September 6th, from 1 pm to 6 pm and invite you to a relaxed shopping stroll.
