Alliance campaign "Democracy Talk"
On February 14, 2025, an alliance of social providers and civil society organizations at Ludwigsplatz in Darmstadt organized a special alliance campaign for the federal election from 2:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
“Our event has the goal of informing citizens: inside of all ages about the upcoming choice, sensitizing the importance of the right to vote and strengthening dialogue about democracy and political participation. At the same time, awareness of the concerns of people who are affected by anti -democratic and right positions should be created, ”says Nele Keth from Paso gGmbH, who initiated the event together with Vivien Hermann as part of the“ Political Car! ”Project.
“In addition to information stands, there are plenty of room for participation in order to be able to approach democracy and elections. Among other things, there will be a mobile polling station for U18 voters and the opportunity to use the Wahl-O-Mat, a "pillar of democracy", the evaluation of electoral test stones as well as games and creative offers with information about the elections . A highlight is certainly an interactive campaign with light spray for visualization of democratic messages, ”adds Vivien Hermann.
The alliance invites all citizens to come into conversation, to find out and to make a strong sign for democracy together.
