According to the CDU, test operation ensures more aircraft noise - civil complaints from all over the circle
Darmstadt-Dieburg -The CDU in the Darmstadt-Dieburg district is surprised by the effects of the new "Cindy S" departure route at Frankfurt Airport. According to the CDU district chairman Lutz Köhler, were numerous negative feedback from various municipalities in the district just a few days after the start of the test operation. The new route now runs between Darmstadt-Wixhausen and Erzhausen , instead of as before between Weiterstadt-Gräfenhausen, Arheilgen and Wixhausen .
"It was feared that it could get louder due to the new departure route. However, it is not understandable that the situation deteriorates so much in so many places," explains Köhler.
Complaints from Gräfenhausen and other districts
The CDU sees the Gräfenhausen . According to the CDU parliamentary group leader and mayor candidate Sebastian Sehlbach , many citizens are surprised that the new route is apparently not being flown as announced-with the result that the flight noise increases. "During my home visits in Gräfenhausen there was no one who rated the new route positively. I myself was amazed at which areas are currently being flown," said Sehlbach.
Complaints were also received from other parts of the constituency. Member of the state parliament Maximilian Schimmel reports on "several negative letters", also from the southern district. Although the increased air traffic is known during the summer vacation, the noise pollution still appears disproportionate.
CDU demands review of the test phase
The CDU is reminiscent of the fact that the aircraft noise commission is actually aiming for a noise relief for the region - this goal has so far been clearly failed. "The promise of air traffic control and Fraport to burden fewer people with aircraft noise has not yet been met," said Köhler, Sehlbach and Schimmel's joint assessment.
The CDU announces that it is at all political levels for a quick review of the current test phase . The goal must be to "measure the real noise pollution objectively and to achieve actual relief to the population".
