Thanks for six years of work by Dr. Martin Faass in Darmstadt
Mayor Hanno Benz Hessian State Museum Darmstadt , Martin Faass on Thursday, January 15, and thanked him for his work in Darmstadt.
As Hesse's Science Minister Timon Gremmels announced on the same day, Dr. Faass will take over the management of Hessen Kassel Heritage . This institution of the state of Hesse unites museums, castles, and historic parks in Kassel.
Stamping of a renowned universal museum
Dr. Faass took over as director of the Hessian State Museum Darmstadt at the beginning of 2019, succeeding the late Dr. Theo Jülich. Over the past six years, he has shaped the universal museum on Friedensplatz with its extensive and high-caliber collections, and together with his team, has further developed it with diverse and creative programs.
Mayor Benz particularly praised the museum's ongoing development and the dedication of the museum team under the leadership of Dr. Faass. On behalf of the City of Darmstadt, he wished Dr. Faass all the best and much success in his new role in Kassel.
