EAD informs about changes to waste collection, recycling center and composting plant
Due to the Easter holidays, the waste collection dates and opening hours of the Darmstadt Municipal Services Department (EAD) will change. This affects the weeks of April 14th to 26th, 2025.
Garbage collection postponement
Week 16 (collection brought forward):
- Monday, April 14 → brought forward to Saturday, April 12
- Tuesday, April 15 → Monday, April 14
- Wednesday, April 16 → Tuesday, April 15
- Thursday, April 17 → Wednesday, April 16
- Friday, April 18 (Good Friday) → Thursday, April 17
Week 17 (collection postponed):
- Monday, April 21 (Easter Monday) → Tuesday, April 22
- Tuesday, April 22 → Wednesday, April 23
- Wednesday, April 23 → Thursday, April 24
- Thursday, April 24 → Friday, April 25
- Friday, April 25 → Saturday, April 26
Closing days of the EAD facilities
The following facilities will remain closed on Saturday, April 19, 2025 :
- Recycling center (Sensfelderweg 33)
- Special waste collection point (Sensfelderweg 33)
- Composting plant (Eckhardwiesenstraße 25)
