Long table on Heidelberger Landstraße on August 23rd
Share a meal, celebrate, and engage in conversation: The Eberstadt Neighborhood Forum invites everyone to the "Eberstadt at One Table" . A long table will be set up on Heidelberger Landstraße, where residents of Eberstadt can gather.
Participants are welcome to bring their own drinks and snacks for the communal meal. A selection of non-alcoholic beverages and snacks will also be available on site, and tables and benches will be provided. Following events in 2018, 2019, and 2022, this is the fourth time "Eberstadt at One Table" has taken place.
"The community festival brings the people of Eberstadt together and provides a setting for interesting encounters and conversations," explains Mayor Hanno Benz. At the same time, the event strengthens community spirit and cohesion within the district.
Music, interactive activities and bicycle repair workshop
The program will be opened at noon by Ludwig Achenbach, the district administrator of Eberstadt. Musical performances will include the children's choir of the Wilhelm-Hauff-School and the gospel choir "His Glory Music Ministry." Anna Kobinger's Eberstadt singing school invites everyone to join in singing.
In addition, there will be walk-around acts from the Waldoni Circus Project, as well as various craft activities for children. The Darmstadt workshop will offer a bicycle repair workshop in the courtyard in front of the community center of the Eberstadt Evangelical Church.
Numerous clubs, churches, social institutions, and initiatives from the neighborhood are participating in the event. The community festival is sponsored by the Hans Erich and Marie Elfriede Dotter Foundation.
Heidelberger Landstraße will be closed
For the festival, Heidelberger Landstraße between Seeheimer Straße and Ringstraße will be closed to traffic on August 23rd from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.Residents are asked to park their vehicles outside the event area in good time.
