Music, dance, socializing and culinary delights in the square in front of the Wilhelm-Hauff-School
DARMSTADT – On Saturday, June 14, 2025, Eberstadt-Süd invites everyone 2 p.m. to a diverse neighborhood festival in the square in front of the Wilhelm-Hauff-School . The event celebrates diversity, community spirit , and cultural exchange. The goal is to foster encounters, strengthen ties within the neighborhood, and promote a sense of belonging.
The festival is organized by dedicated residents in cooperation with local institutions and initiatives. It is financed entirely through donations – this year with support from Bauverein AG, the Darmstadt Citizens' Foundation, the Dotter Foundation , and other local sponsors.
The stage program offers a diverse mix of music, dance, artistic performances , and short greetings from politicians and civil society. It begins at 2 p.m. with the official welcome and an interfaith prayer for peace, followed by performances from the Paradies Children's Center and the Wilhelm-Hauff School. In the afternoon, the program includes performances by Circus Waldoni, the gospel choir His Glory Music Ministry , and the dance group Art of the Oreoos . 6:15 p.m. A live band at 9 p.m. concludes
Alongside the stage program, the Wilhelm-Hauff-School offers guided tours and insights into school life. Numerous hands-on activities, games, information booths , and culinary specialties from around the world round out the program.
The festival is open to everyone – regardless of age or background. It invites you to meet new people, celebrate together, and experience the diversity of the neighborhood.
