Exchange, new elections and project presentation on January 28th
The first Eberstadt South neighborhood meeting of the new year will take place on Wednesday, January 28, 2026. The meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. and will be held at the community center of the Evangelical Church of Darmstadt Eberstadt-South, Eberstadt district of Darmstadt .
The neighborhood meeting is led by Jana Freund and Peter Grünig from the Eberstadt community work team, which is part of the Caritas Center Eberstadt South . The organizing team also includes Susanne Flath from the Mobile Practice, Ludwig Achenbach from the Eberstadt district administration, and volunteers Hannes Marb, Andreas May, and Nicole Holzapfel.
Central committee for the district
The neighborhood council is the central planning and coordination body for the southern part of Eberstadt. It facilitates exchange, networking, and cooperation between residents, social service providers, the administration, and politicians. Furthermore, it represents the interests of the neighborhood to relevant stakeholders.
The meeting will focus on current information from the district, ongoing developments, and the exchange of ideas. A special agenda item will be the presentation of the "Darmstadt Connect" project by PaSo gGmbH , which showcases new opportunities for networking and participation in the neighborhood.
New elections in the organizing team
Furthermore, the re-election of the organizing team and the leadership of the neighborhood council is on the agenda. Anyone interested in becoming involved in the organizing team or in leadership can contact the Caritas Center Eberstadt South before or after the meeting.
The neighborhood council provides a platform to raise concerns, discuss ideas for the further development of the district, and actively shape community life in Eberstadt South.
