Networking event in cooperation with Volksbank Darmstadt Mainz
Around 60 business owners from Groß-Gerau met on Wednesday morning for the business breakfast hosted by the economic development agency and Volksbank Darmstadt Mainz . This networking event, established over several years, once again provided a platform for exchange, cooperation, and expanding business contacts in the region.
The event was opened in the Volksbank's event room on Schulstraße by Mayor Jörg Rüddenklau and Matthias Martiné , Chairman of the Board of Volksbank Darmstadt Mainz eG. Both emphasized the importance of the meeting for the local economy and the strengthening of Groß-Gerau as a business location.
Practical insights and presentations
The participants first gained fascinating insights into local business initiatives. Olaf Doerenbecher and Ralf Nordmann from AVM gGmbH presented methods for qualifying and integrating long-term unemployed people into the labor market. Bernd Rausch from bb Personaldienste gmbh how the personnel service provider precisely matches qualified applicants with companies.
Following a discussion, two further presentations were given: Jürgen Fuchs from Fahrrad Fuchs and Norbert von den Bruck spoke about the advantages and possibilities of e-bike leasing for employees. Finally, Markus Schütz from Volksbank Darmstadt Mainz on company pension schemes and the increasing importance of benefits for attracting and retaining employees.

The business breakfast once again highlighted the importance of networking and knowledge exchange for the local economy. Organizers and participants drew an unanimously positive conclusion: the format not only strengthens cooperation but also enhances Groß-Gerau's reputation as a dynamic business location.
