Three choirs present musical diversity – advance ticket sales have started
GROSS-GERAU DISTRICT – On Sunday, September 21, 2025 , the Gross-Gerau district invites you to an "Evening of Choirs" in the Georg Büchner Hall of the District Administration Office . Starting at 5 p.m. (doors open at 4 p.m., concert hall opens at 4:45 p.m.), three choirs from the district will present their repertoire and celebrate the joy of singing together.
The participating choirs are Chorgemeinschaft 1844 Dornheim eV – TonArt , MGV Stockstadt , Chorgemeinschaft SCH 1842 Ginsheim eV – TeaTime and VocoMotion .

Choral Society 1844 Dornheim e.V. – TonArt
Since 1998, the TonArt choir has complemented the long-established association. Their repertoire ranges from rock, pop, musicals, and gospel to evergreens – sung in German and English. Choir director Anne Paul has led the choirs since 2004.

(MGV Stockstadt
) was founded in 1921 and awarded the Zelter Plaque Under the direction of conductor Alexander Wehrum, the choir's repertoire includes both classical choral works and modern pieces. Around 35 active singers are involved in the choir.

The Ginsheim Choir Association (SCH 1842 eV) – TeaTime & VocoMotion:
VocoMotion celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2024 and impresses with pop, rock, jazz, gospel, and classical music. In 2023, the TeaTime project was launched – an offering for new and returning singers, especially those over 60. It is directed by Frank Linnerth (VocoMotion) and Konstantin Karklisiyski (TeaTime).

Tickets and supporting program
Tickets start at €12 (€10 for concessions) plus fees; seating is unreserved. They are available online at grossgerau.reservix.de and at the information desk of the district administration. A small champagne reception before the concert is included in the ticket price.
The evening is being organized by the Groß-Gerau district in cooperation with the Groß-Gerau Savings Bank Foundation . In addition to ticket sales, the choirs will receive additional funding from the foundation.
