Three choirs present musical diversity – presale started
GROSS-GERAU DISTRICT – On Sunday, September 21, 2025 , the Groß-Gerau district invites you to the "Evening of Choirs" in the Georg Büchner Hall of the district administration office . Starting at 5 p.m. (doors open at 4 p.m., concert hall opens at 4:45 p.m.), three choirs from the district will present their repertoire, celebrating the joy of singing together.
Participating are the Chorgemeinschaft 1844 Dornheim eV – TonArt , the MGV Stockstadt and the Chorgemeinschaft SCH 1842 Ginsheim eV – TeaTime and VocoMotion .

Chorgemeinschaft 1844 Dornheim eV – TonArt
The TonArt choir has been part of this long-established association since 1998. Their repertoire ranges from rock, pop, musicals, and gospel to classics—sung in German and English. Choir director Anne Paul has led the choirs since 2004.

MGV Stockstadt
The men's choir was founded in 1921 and awarded the Zelter Plaque Under the direction of Alexander Wehrum, the repertoire includes classical choral literature as well as modern pieces. Around 35 active singers are involved in the association.

Chorgemeinschaft SCH 1842 Ginsheim eV – TeaTime & VocoMotion.
VocoMotion celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2024 and impresses with pop, rock, jazz, gospel, and classical music. In 2023, the TeaTime project was launched – an offering for new and returning singers, especially those over 60. It is led by Frank Linnerth (VocoMotion) and Konstantin Karklisiyski (TeaTime).

Tickets and supporting program
Tickets start at €12 (€10 concessions) plus fees, with free seating. They are available online at grossgerau.reservix.de and at the district administration's information desk. The ticket price includes a small champagne reception before the concert.
The evening is organized by the Groß-Gerau district in cooperation with the Groß-Gerau Savings Bank Foundation . In addition to the entrance fees, the choirs receive additional funding from the foundation.
