The Netuschil Gallery opens the exhibition “Favorite Pieces”Until September 19, 50 works from the collection, holdings, and studio will be on display, pieces that have become particularly dear to Claus K. Netuschil and the gallery staff over the past five decades.
The selected works are those that have become particularly dear to gallery owner Claus K. Netuschil and the gallery staff over the past five decades. The exhibition will be accompanied by several events including studio visits, discussions, and guided tours.
Favorite pieces and stories from the gallery
On Saturday, August 22nd, starting at 2 pm, studio visits with Gerd Winter and Matthias Will are on the program. The event lasts approximately four hours and is only possible with prior registration. The fee is €15, including drinks. Previous registrations will be confirmed.
Under the title "Stories from the Land of Pictures," Claus K. Netuschil will speak about his collection and personal favorite pieces on Friday, August 28, at 7 p.m. He will also share anecdotes and curiosities from the gallery's history. Admission is €6, including one drink.
Conversations with artists and collectors
A guided tour and discussion will take place on Friday, September 11, at 7 p.m. Artists from the gallery and affiliated collectors will talk about their relationship to art and their artistic journey. Admission is also €6, including one drink.
The exhibition concludes on Friday, September 18th, at 7 pm with a closing event and guided tour.
