Initiative for Children's and Youth Rights and VfR Eberstadt honored – support from Alex Meier and Hannes Marb
The Children's and Youth Rights Initiative in Eberstadt and the VfR Eberstadt have been awarded the Fair Play Prize by the Hessian Football Association . Their project , "Kick with Brains: Football and Values Education," combines athletic development with the teaching of important values and has thus impressed audiences throughout Hesse.
The project receives special support from Frankfurt football icon Alex Meier , who emphasizes that children's and youth rights play a central role, especially in football.
Even the reigning world champion in kickboxing point fighting, Hannes Marb , is getting involved: He's raising funds for the Clown Doctors 1Apersonal, all proceeds from his Instagram posts go directly to the non-profit organization.
The interplay between sport, values education and social engagement shows how important fair play is even outside the playing field.
